Alexandre Mattiussi may not be a typical household name, but his creative genius was honed inside the walls of big names such as Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, and Dior. Born out of his desire to dress all men fashionably and accessibly, as if they were his own friends, Mattiussi launched AMI Paris in 2011.
Mattiussi’s inspiration draws from Parisian nonchalance and joie-de-vivre. As a result, AMI Paris blurs the line between casual and chic. Characterized by oversized cuts, unique textiles, and embroidered with its distinctive logo, the label represents the epitome of décontracté. From button-down shirts to hoodies, the central focus is simplicity, comfort, and wearability.

The past summer saw a capsule campaign entitled AMI De Coeur or Friends Of The Heart. It features iconic favorites in a bold primary color palette as an ode to togetherness and inclusiveness. This is the first collaboration between AMI Paris and renowned visual artist Jean-Paul Goude.
A sense of maturity sets in the AMI Paris Fall/Winter 2021 collection. Pastel shades and bright colors are replaced by earthy tones, blacks, whites, all in a multitude of textures. Loose-fitting suits and coats romance each other in a harmonious symphony without being gaudy.
