The GMC Yukon Denali is quite possibly one of the best options out there in the full size suv market, especially if you’re looking to spend less than you would on a full-size German luxury SUV such as the BMW X7 or Audi Q8. This is definitely one of the best options out there and besides, it has received nothing but acclaim and praise from the automotive world
The Yukon Denali has a very bold exterior design. Sporting more angles and lines than a university Calculus course, the design may be a little too angular for the taste of some, but I personally think that it adds to the vehicle’s panache and presence on the road. I know that if I saw one of these in my rear-view mirror on the highway, I’d probably be getting out of the way.
On the inside the Yukon Denali oozes luxury and class. Many different options are available in terms of colours and materials that you can choose, especially depending on whether you go with the Denali or the Denali Ultimate editions, with the latter including additional interior features such as head-restraint installed Bose speakers (part of an 18 speaker Bose sound system), laser etched wood finishing and “Ultimate” badging on the seats. Another great feature of the Denali is the third-row seating so whether you’re ferrying your kids and their friends to baseball practice or picking up all your buddies for a night out on the town, the Denali has you covered!
The heart of this beast is a 6.2L V8 engine which pumps out a respectable 420bhp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, this combination is sure to smooth out your drive and also features software that adapts to your driving style. Alternatively, a 3.0L Turbodiesel Duramax engine is available and is rated at 270 bhp and 460 lb-ft of Torque. While it may have a lower power output it nonetheless gives you a far better range of up to 750 km on a full tank of gas.
