When you make it to the top, how do you reinvent yourself into something even greater? MGM Resorts International and the Sydell Group joined forces to do just that. As a brand new Las Vegas hotel experience, the old Monte Carlo casino-hotel is reborn as Park MGM along with its swanky sister, NoMad Las Vegas. Without a doubt, the result is nothing short of breathtaking. Also home to the popular Italian food hall Eataly and a 5200-seat amphitheater, the Park Theater, the resort is anchored by a plethora of food and entertainment options.
A Hotel Experience Like No Other
Designed to mimic the feel of a European home or a New York apartment, the five-star NoMad Las Vegas ditches the generic hotel model in favor of a sophisticated atmosphere with a touch of understated hospitality. With this in mind, the Sydell Group enlisted the services of French architect Jacques Garcia. Each room is tastefully decorated with unique enhancements such as hardwood flooring, bespoke furniture, custom Bellino linens, and marble-tiled showers. To complete the experience, guests have access to an exclusive pool, a high-roller’s casino room, as well as the NoMad Restaurant. Helmed by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Humm, the establishment celebrates great American classics in a setting inspired by the magestic Library of NoMad New York.
Moreover, guests check in through a discreet entrance located not far from Park MGM’s main entrance. At this point, an exclusive elevator rides to NoMad’s 293 rooms and suites, located in the building’s topmost four floors. Rooms range from a Classic King all the way to a multi-bedroom Suite Royale Premiere equipped with its own billiard table. Regardless of choice, the living space is inviting and comforting while the excitement of the Las Vegas Strip remains within reach.
Eat well, live longer!
Italian food is obviously more than just pasta and pizza. In fact, the variety is as colorful and vibrant as the Italian people themselves. With Eataly Las Vegas, the Park MGM complex becomes a place to discover and learn more about this Old World cuisine. Opened in December 2018, the famous marketplace unites a food court, a wine bar, a bakery, a café, and even a teaching kitchen all under one roof.

Be Entertained By The Best
Nestled within the Park MGM grounds, the Park Theater opened in 2016 to a Stevie Nicks concert, and is currently host to Lady Gaga’s residency. In order to achieve an intimate atmosphere, the venue is designed so that no seat is more than 145 feet from the stage.
Lady Gaga performs on two distinctly different shows: ENIGMA, a theatrical voyage across many of her greatest hits, and JAZZ & PIANO, stripping down her songs into a close-up conversation with the audience. All shows leading up to New Year’s Eve 2019 are sold out, but reseller tickets are still available through Ticketmaster. It is important to note that no further performances are announced after November 9, 2020. With her residency undetermined beyond that date, it may be wise to book a show sooner rather than later.
To complement Lady Gaga’s residency, the Haus of Gaga is a museum that pays homage to her eccentric wardrobe and memorabilia. For example, see the famous “meat dress” recreated in all its splendor, or admire the original Versace gown worn to the 2012 Presidential Inauguration. A slew of other cultural landmarks and surprises are also on site. As admission is free, this unique exhibit is a must-visit!
Not only Lady Gaga can be seen at the Park Theater. Multi-Grammy Award-winning superstar Bruno Mars is also following up his successful 11-show run in 2019 with five more dates in 2020. Choose from March 6 & 7 and April 20, 24 & 25. Regular tickets are still available through Ticketmaster but are selling out fast!

Among the glitz and glamor of its neighboring resorts, the NoMad Las Vegas successfully brought the Big Apple boutique hotel experience to the entertainment capital of the world. And as part of the greater Park MGM resort, guests will surely enjoy all the amenities available on its grounds in addition to exclusive access of NoMad-only refinements. All in all, the end result is subtle, refined, and definitely a welcoming change of scenery to the Las Vegas hotel scene.
