When it comes to luxury EVs sedans, the selection is becoming an increasingly heated battle of the giants. Going directly after Tesla’s Model S and the Porsche Taycan 4S, the Mercedes-Benz EQS is the brand’s all-new flagship seeking to redefine the genre with a unique platform that is sure to significantly alter the landscape.

Intelligence at your fingertips

The main focus of the Mercedes-Benz EQS is user experience. Featuring two separate OLED screens hidden behind a 56-inch span of high-tech glass, the MBUX Hyperscreen provides a unified infotainment suite that is both intuitive and informative.
The EQS is intelligent – frighteningly intelligent due to its advanced AI. It progressively learns speech patterns, recognizes voices, and adapts itself to the comforts and habits of each person sitting in the cockpit. It can sense different drivers and boasts other selectable profiles such as valet which disables many of the personalization features for added security and convenience.

A car to be driven

With a drag coefficient of only 0.20, the Mercedes-Benz EQS is the world’s most aerodynamic production car. This translates into a maximized driving range of 547 km with minimal wind noise.
The dual synchronous electric motors that power the 4MATIC drivetrain deliver an impressive 516 hp and 631 lb-ft of torque, launching the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. There is also an active rear-axle steering system that turns the rear wheels up to 10 degrees in each direction. The result is crisp manoeuvering at speed and a tight turning radius for everyday city use.

Designed to stand out

As a flagship sedan, Mercedes-Benz spared no compromise to dress it up in its finest. Seats are draped with hand-stitched buttery soft leather and trims are adorned with natural wood accents. Moreover, the EQS is equipped with a distinctive interactive ambient lighting system with 64 mood tones to choose from.
The car is fitted with an advanced four-stage HEPA filter and can be paired with an aromatherapy feature and massaging seats, allowing it to gently whisk its occupants to their destination.

Electrified convenience

A three-year subscription to Mercedes me Charge, providing access to a vast network of public charge stations across Canada, the US, and around the world, is included with every EQS.
