Winter dreaming for that summer riding

It is bound to be a unique collaboration, uniting the House of Dior and Vespa. Both founded in 1946 have recently engaged their fastidious craftsmanship to introduce a limited edition 2021 Vespa 946 Christian Dior, with a range of matching accessories, that would exhibit a fashionable statement of the ever-evolving spirit of freedom of movement and expression, that is highly valued by both.

Inspiration

The project was inspired and designed exclusively by Creative Director of Women’s Haute Couture Maria Grazia Chiuri, as she states “ Like in the 1953 film Roman Holiday, which has left that extraordinary image of Audrey Hepburn clinging to Gregory Peck on a Vespa forever etched in our collective memory.” Chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture explain “ This collaboration with Vespa pays tribute to the incomparable charms of the Italian Riviera, which so fascinated Christian Dior in his time.”

It’s all in the details

The 946 is Vespa’s most recognized and most valuable jewel for the company, as it traces back to 1946 (hence the name ) to their original concept release. the 125cc motor is embraced by a monocoque steel body, with an optional dose of 1967 Marc Bohan’s mythical oblique motif case design, that adorns the saddle that is fixed on the luggage rack. Details of gold accents add to the fashionable appearance of the two-tone blue leather seat and matching grips on the handlebar. Optional accessories such as a matching helmet and bag are ascertained to make you ride in a Diorified style.
